Apparently the 2013 version. Called Oak Aged Double Vision IPA at the brewpub. Smell is aged double dull hops. Lighter iced tea appearance. ooooo, boy. This stuff starts off with a slightly fruity backbone and then it gets down to business. Fresh hops kick you in the pie hole. Almost cloying sweet at times, this must be an unrefined barley wine. Nasty tellie terrible on style. Quite difficult may I say. Better age this some more, like 10 years. Does not hide alky well. Mouth coating unimpressive finish. A little co2 saves this.
