Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a caramel brown color with a medium sized foamy bright white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with notes of orange marmalade and yeast. The flavor was sweet and malty with honey, caramel and orange marmalade. Long finish. Medium bodied and. Excellent.

Certainly one of the better octoberfests I’ve had lately. Nice color, slightly darker than a pale lager, somewhat like lighter iced tea in appearance. Nice initial flavors. So many fest beers are cloyingly sweet, this is not. Its just a refreshing example of what a well behaved octoberfest should be, I liked this stuff. Hides the alky well. Enjoyable fer sure.
