Hazy orange color, big cloudy head - bottle was a gusher. Tart, "bretta" aroma. Medium-bodied, foamy carbonation. Tartish flavor, farmhouse, barnyard, some fruity notes. Obviously infected, but very nice Orval-like farmhouse ale!

Aroma has bretta, urinal cake and some grapefruit. Foamy palate. Flavour is leathery with bretta, some urinal cake and . Odd but good, nothing to do with APA though.

From backlog. Clear amber, medium off-white head. Piney, citrusy and perfumy hop aroma, some bready malt. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity bretty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy weak bretty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange colour with a soap-like, off-white, medium head. Sour aroma with berries, cheese, barnyard and heather. One of a kind. The flavour is more sour and feels light and balanced. Has a light and slick mouth feel, and light berry bitterness. A fresh and light brett beer.

33 cl bottle purchased at Systembolaget in Mölndal early July 2013.BB May 2014, sampled on September 5, 2013.Label states IBU 30 and Special American Pale Ale.Not gushing, but a large hiss when opened, also builds up some in the bottle but without spilling over. In the glass builds up a very large head, silly even. When freshly poured can’t hardly see any beer, just a pint glass full of head, and I haven’t poured 25% of the bottle even.Clear golden color, head settles to a fairly big and lasting fluffy white top that also have left lace on the glass. Mix of dough, wheat, grains, hops, citrus, lemon, artificial citrus dishwashing liquid, gypsum, sort of sharp and unbalanced scent. Malty, hoppy, floral, perfume, light citrus, flower petals, dry, bitter, resin taste. Some caramel sweet initial aftertaste, but quickly turns to citrus and dry. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, surprisingly low on the CO2 when considering the head build up. Medium high dry lingering bitterness.Far from the best APA I’ve had, also far from the best beer I’ve had from Poppels.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in July 2013. Hazy dark golden with a huge white head. Slightly sour aroma and taste of fruit, bread, hay and some yeast. The mouthfeel was soft. A light bitterness in this one. Drinkable but nothing special.

330ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Floral and perfumed aroma with a hint of spice. Hoppy, fruity and spicy taste with dried apricot and sultanas standing out.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad disig. Fruktig och maltig doft med aprikoser och persika. Len munkänsla, lätta runda smaker. Försiktigt humlas, lätt beska, lätta fruktiga smaker plus hö, jäst och krusbär. Gott
