Pours up at AZ Strong Ale Fest 2014 with a clear copper body that has hues of gold and supporting a tall tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malts, a touch of graininess and sticky resiny pine hops. The taste is nice and thick and malty where modest pine hoppiness moves into more firm sticky resiny pine bitterness to midway as well as more malts blended with sticky hoppy pine hop flavor into the finish. Wow. This is a tasty barleywine where the malts and hops are firm and big but blended and harmonious. Yum.
