Tap at the brewery. Pours deep brown with nose of chocolate malt. Tastes of roasted malt, chocolate, light oatmeal, some vanilla, and some pine. A touch more bitter than creamy. Not too sweet which I like. Could drink a bunch of this without feeling ill.

Growler pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up malts, dark roasted malts, a sliver of white chocolate and a dash of sweet molasses. The taste has pleasing deep dark roasted malts, chocolate tempered by malt sweetness and then a thin layer of molasses. The oatmeal adds only a modest degree of creaminess to the mouthfell. Nice roasty brew.
