It pours with a clear copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up firm notes of grapefruit, tangelo, malt sweetened dank spicy onions and some resiny pine hops. Nice! The taste starts with bitter to resiny hops where grapefruit and clementine citrus are mixed with malt sweetened tangelo. To midway resiny pine hops and dank spicy onion to shallot to garlic earthy hoppy goodness try to shoulder in among the bruising citrusy notes. This is a solid big beast of a largely citrusy hop IIPA. Deep, rich, balanced and heavy heavy on hops. Love it. So who makes the best big hoppy beer in AZ? This one is right there at the top.
