Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark brown color with red highlights and a large foamy orange tan head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The flavor was toasty and sweet with some dark fruits. The flavor was toasty, Woody and bready with bread crust and dark fruits. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Sample at Red Brick as part of Ohio Brew Week. The beer pours a clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Malty aroma with some hops in the background. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, hops, and fruit. The finish is roasty with a nutty, malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

A creamy looking darker but not too dark pour with a creamy thin head. Smell is a little bit of slag. Big bursting flavor of bitter malty alky, does not hide the alky well. Stronger beer impressions. Smooth but aver the top in a few flavor aspects. Palate does have a little co2 hidden in there. Bitter medicine malt linger for a finsh.
