Bottle @ Vinoble Odense. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Good roast, licorice and very mild peated smoke - balanced and pleasant. Smoooth and really soft body. Bitter roasted finish with a slight warmth. Very good!

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is liquorice, some toffee, mild floral and grassy notes along with chocolate. Flavour is floral, grassy, mild liquorice, some slight toasted notes along with wood, toffee and a slight alcohol sweet sting to it.

Bottle @ Jacobs. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head, heavy lacings. Aroma of hard roasted malt, coffee, smoke, licorice, peat, alcohol. Flavor is light sweet, heavy roasted malt, licorice, peat, smoke, wood, light citrusly hops, light boozy. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish with some warming alcohol. 230115

Bottle. Pitch black colour with large beige head. Aroma of salty liquorice and roasted caramel, nice and warming with hint of vanilla and wood, nice and well balanced with silk smooth finish.

Look: pitch black, big bright orange head with good retention.
Aroma: intense, loads of chocolate, coffee, black currant, roasted, light alcohol/chocolate liqueur.
Taste: well roasted, chocolate, coffee, berries/black currant, that roasted acidity, moderate bitterness, burnt wood.
A big bold impy.
Look: pitch black, big bright orange head with good retention.

Bottle 500ml @ Beer Hunters. Opaque black color, small brownish head. Smoke, sweetish licorice candy and cocoa in the nose. Medium-bodied. Inky, harsh, burnt malty and alcoholic. Some licorice. Aroma is so much better. Now flavors are very home-brewish.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, chocolate, wood, roasted, coffee, bunrt, sweet malt, licorice notes, smoke - peat notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130828]

bottle from vinoble østerbro pitch dark, dark brown head. roasted malts, fruity hops, licorice in the aroma, quite roasted malty, but also somwehat fruity. flavor is roasted malts, licorice, chocolate, charchoal, hard roasted malts, dark chocolate, many different flavors, hops add some bitter fruitiness. also some dark dry caramel. ends licorice, hard roasted malts and a hint of chocolate.
