Our Standard Porter, brewed with a complex malt profile for tones of liquorice, coffee, dark chocolate and hopped with Magnum and Columbus for a gentle spice and resiny mouth feel. Great with oysters.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Ansjelaah. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Aroma has malts, dark malts, a slight touch of sweetness. Taste malts, lightly roasted malts, again some sweetness of raisins and a faint touch of coffee or chocolate. Average to medium body and carbonation. Nice, but I expected more.

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Pitch black with a minimal sized beige head. Smells almost nothing.. Some roasted malts maybe. Tastes raisins, sweet, slightly roasty. A bit boring tbh. Full body, soft carbo.

330ml bottle. Pitch black colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Intense, chocolately dark malty aroma has notes of liquorice, hints of coffee and cappuccino, milk, a touch of ammonia. Taste is initially moderately sweet dark malty, hints of cappuccino, yeast, later vinous and fruity, some ammonia again, leading to a dry, grainy and chalky finish. Rich and complex, developing taste, some off-flavours throughout.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, chocolate, raw sugar, caramel, jenka, banana and bread. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, banana, coffee and bread. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. A bit too high carbonation. Quite OK. Estery.
