Madison River Brewing Company presents Salmon Fly Honey Rye. The malted barley used in this unique brew is complimented by the subtle spiciness of rye. Bittering and flavor hop additions help keep this brew extremely balanced. In addition, there is a mild sweetness that dulls any overwhelming rye or hop flavor derived from the pure local Montana honey. These ingredients blend together to create a lighter bodied drinking experience for all kinds of beer drinkers.

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Hazy pale golden with a small white head. Weak citrus hop aroma with a bready malt note. Sweet malty and fruity flavour. Could use a little more bitterness for balance

Bottle: courtesy of Shrubber...heβs so good to me. Pours slightly hazed medium gold, with a thin white head. Scent is light honey, malt. Taste is sweetly honeyed, grain, fruit. A sslight grassy hop bitter. Really didnβt get any rye.... only a vague hint of raspberry,...but, nonetheless, ....pretty tasty little beer from Big Sky Country.

Bottle. Very light biscuit malt and grassy hops aroma - could barely smell it. Hazy golden with a small white head. Light biscuit malt and honey flavor. No rye character to speak of. Light body, soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours clear golden light amber, small off white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is grain, rye, urinal, touch of honey. Flavor is same, medium sweet honey, spicy rye finish, metal notes in the finish. Light body, low carbonation, meh.
