Taste is sweet, caramel malty and yeasty fruity, notes of caramel, dark caramel, treacle, dark fruit, dried dark fruit, some fresh bramble, black currant, cherry, hints of Marsala, Bourbon, a tart-ish, fruit acidic and a minimally dry, tannic, woody touch keep the sweetness in check; a minimally warming, alcoholic touch in the finish, well hidden alcohol overall. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Rich and complex, harmonious, maybe a tad too sweet - wonderful.
