Can, 0.50l. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, nuts, roasted malt and cloves. Pours pitch black color with medium sized soapy cappuccino-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and chocolate, follows by caramel, dried fruit, nuts and mild coffee, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is pretty bitter. 500ml can. Opaque, darkest brwon colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of coffee, dark caramel, chocolate, some dark chocolate, whiffs of malt lozenge and liquorice. Taste is caramel malty, slightly roasty and chocolately, minimally nutty, dark malty, some roasty and hoppy bitterness, hints of toffee, caramel, malt lozenge, some coffee, dark chocolate, a weak touch of liquorice; a very weak, minimally warming, alcoholic touch in the finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively simple and light bodied, thin somehow, expected more coffee - a bit disappointing.
