Bottle at home, 21st November 2020. Pours a light golden colour, white frothy head. Aroma is biscuity, malts, straw and fresh grass. Taste is refreshing, biscuit, malts, bitter, fresh grass and hay. Solid Helles

Bottle. It pours a finger-thick white head over a clear golden colored body. Fruity aroma with grass, pale malts, dusty malts, piney, lightly citrusy hops and a hint of apple and pear. It's medium to full-bodied, quite crisp and dry, with a pleasant carbonation. Piney, peppery and lightly grassy flavor with backdrop of dusty pale malts. Long finish. Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. It pours clear pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, lemon curd, custard creams and doughy white bread. The taste is crisp and dry, some pleasant bitterness, clean, grass, pithy citrus, white pepper, some underlying sweetness and custard creams with a lingering bitter, grassy finish. Average carbonation and fine, prickly carbonation. Rounded and rather drinkable. Decent stuff.

Bottle from The Curious Hop, Otley. Pours a clear light golden colour with medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of hay, grass and bread. Taste has a light grassy finish and notes of cardboard. Medium bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Just an average lager. Not great.

8-4-7-4-15 Bottle, seven months before bbd. Pours clear yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is crisp hoppy notes with citrus, grass and floral notes, as well as pilsner malts with white bread and hay. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter citrusy hops with citrus, herbal notes and grass, as well as malts with cereals, hay and some earthy minerals. Crisp, balanced finish. Quaffable and moreish.

Pear and hoparoma. A firm hopbitterness, with some oaky tones. Apple. Maybe a bit thin, but this brewer knows his job. Absolutely clean and tasty beer.
