Slightly higher in alcohol content than traditional Wits, ours is brewed using wheat, oats, authentic Belgian yeast, malts and just a sprinkle of hops. Spices include coriander, sweet and bitter orange peel and grains of paradise.

Bottle courtesy of tastybeer, thanks! Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Aroma of lemon bubblegum. Taste is lemonbread with a bit of pepper at the finish.

22oz bottle. Poured a hazy straw yellow color with a thick, fluffy white head. Aroma was a bit repulsive for me at first - I don’t know, something seemed a bit off about it - don’t know if it was the yeast character or the grains but meh. Yeah. Surprisingly I enjoyed the flavor a lot more. This was okay - if the aroma was better I’d probably have enjoyed it a lot more.

Bottle (release #6). Pours with a hazed, light golden hued body with a large fluffy white head (looks like the moon). Good retention and lace. Strong spice and phenolic nose with notes of pepper, coriander, sage and lavender. Some floral almost honey like notes, grains of paradise, medium malt character: crackery, wheat. Quite spicy. Flavors show a touch of salinity, bready, grainy wheat, floral, sage, coriander, lavender. Low pepper. Strong phenols overall. Very soft mineral character. Very low bitterness. Fuller carbonation, dry, medium to low bodied. Easy to drink.

Bottle @ home, tasted next to Funkwerks White 2012 and Bristol Wit. Cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Quite spicy (yeasty and herbal), coriander, orange citrusy aroma. Rich bready and cracker malty, wheat malty, pepper/coriander spicy, fairly quenching/easy drinking flavor. Pretty good one but I preferred Bristol Wit.

Surprisingly floral bouquet of lillies, rosehips, clover honey, and the obligatory coriander. Clear yellow, headless. Drinks like it smells, somewhat perfumey but the hops and spices compliment each other quite well. I’m told that "white IPAs" may be the new trend as several high profile breweries have one under development. This beer certainly be considered one. Avant garde.

22 ounce release #4 bottle from Total Wine, Norfolk, VA. Rated 7/20/11. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a medium sized creamy head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of tart citrus and big spice notes. The taste is pretty similar along with some apple and grape notes. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Very nice color of a hazy Pineapple juice. ½ white head with good retention and lace. Aromas of coriander, hint of apple and wheat. Taste is simple and easy carbonation makes it easy to chug. Coriander and spice upfront, a hint of apple and a twinge of citrus in the finish. Its a nice brew. Is very easy to drink. Looks good, smells good, tastes good. A nice Wit.

Courtesy of douglas88. Pours opaque pale gold with nice white head. The aroma is sweet with malts, grains, some banana, a bit of cherry and a mild wheated malt note. The taste is pretty rich with soft smooth yeasty spices, more wheat like spices (?), a drying note, mild sweet banana and cherry flavored bubble gum. It ends with a pleasing soft palate.
