A traditional Farmhouse saison or ‘seasonal’ style beer brewed for it’s rich flavor and character. Four select yeast strains are used to brew this complex, fruity and aromatic beer. An abundance of whole cone Fuggle & Golding hops create a delicate balance with the malted barley, wheat & oats.

375ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Mild fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of peach, apricot, nectarine, a touch of brine, white pepper, sage, a grassy touch of hay. Taste is malt-bound fruity and spicy yeasty, sweet-ish malty basis is tart-ish fruity counterbalanced, notes of peach, apricot, hints of white wine and grapes, slightly peppery spiciness, a touch of sage. Mild and gentle, superbly balanced, an epitome of subtlety.

Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, with crisp citrus and fruits, as well as some hay and notes of grass. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with Belgian yeast, notes of wood and hay. Lingering tart finish. Very saison-ish.

Small sample from bottle, at a 4th of July tasting. Gusher bottle, like every beer I’ve had from Logsdon. The remaining contents were nice though - a decent saison, with mild spicy notes in both aroma and flavour. Might well sample again.

Early summer gettogether in RB Odense. Golden with a big white head. Fruity, spicy, herbal, quite classic saison aroma. Quite sweet, spicy flavour with white pepper, coriander, rosemary and a grassy note. Quite bitter finish. Shame about the sweetness

Bottle @ Scheffel, Orla and Dolle - 3 men strong ,Odense Tasting. Thanks to Gunnarolis. Pours Cloudy golden with a white head. Perfume, grass, yeast , bubblegum, esters and white pepper. Medium bodied. Spicy and Warming finish.

375 mL bottle poured. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a ton of foam head. Sweet lemon, grains, and floral aroma. Very nice floral, citrus fruit flavor. Medium carb with a mellow grain finish. Exactly what I love about saisons. A ton of lemon and yeast in the finish. Very good beer here.
