Huge thanks to kevnic2008 for that bottle. Looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts fine malty, spicy, nice notes of herbs. Background modest sourish. Finish well balanced. A nice one!

Many thanks for this bottle to Beersiveknown. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, butter, bread and a little citrus. Similar notes in the taste.

Bottle from Sainsburys in Watford. Poured a very pale golden colour with a white head which dissipated very rapidly. Fairly un-beer like aroma of caramelised ginger, boiled sweets and coriander. Lemongrass flavours with tropical fruit-juice (5 Alive type affair) and ginger wine. Finishes with pepper, some wheat and mild floral hops... Didn’t taste much like beer, more like a diluted alcoholic ginger beer.

[10/19/13] Bottle shared at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Clear golden. Spicy aroma with some ginger, a bit wheaty. Sweetish flavor, wheaty, spicy, with ginger, some citrus peels and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied.

500ml brown bottle: BBD end of Aug 14, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 22 Oct 13. Clear golden colour with a head that soon left the scene. Grain and spicy nose, wheat mostly, with traces of coriander leading the spice trail. The taste was an interesting blend of flavours: biscuity malts, spiced hops and summer fruits. Refreshing in the mouth with a dry finish, medium bodied and different to the ’run of the Mill’ brews that were also in the Sainsbury Beer Challenge this year.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Gold pour with a white head. Lots of fruit and heavy spice in the aroma. Spice ridden flavour with a dash of lemon in there. Not for me.

Kräuterartiger Antrunk, der im ersten Moment eher an Fassbrause erinnert. Wenig herb, etwas hefig, unscheinbar. 9/8/10/7//8

Bottle from Sainsburys. Deep gold with a slight white head. Spicy notes of coriander, clove and ginger, some fruitiness and a gentle finish. So so.
