500ml bottle. Clear yellow golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of wheat, cardamon & coriander, spicey. Taste is similar, wheaty with coriander, spice, plus ginger & pepper notes and a light herbal bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry peppery finish. Quite OK.

(Bottle) Clear golden beer. Dry, slightly sweet smell. You can catch a hint of some of the spices on the tongue along with a soft hop flavour. Finish is dry and floral and as your mouth dries more of the spice (a sort of sharp, pepper taste) comes through. Perhaps not as interesting as I expected from the label but quite nice regardless.

Cask hand pump at NWAF, shared a half pint with Finn. Disappearing filmy layer at the top of copper-gold coloured body. Spicy nose, some ginger and cardamom. Sweet spiced taste with dough-like wheat. Very sweet and far from great (Manchester, 25.01-2013).
