Cask at Waterloo Tap. Nil aroma (is it this place?). Dark - almost purple in the light. Frothy beige head. Initially low key veg before chocolate comes through. Light bodied. Thin. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. OK.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. A dark reddish chestnut pour with no trace of any head; oatmeal aroma; sweet treacle taste, with an oily body and a touch of chocolate from the deep roasted malts; then a light floral bitterness and a dry finish. A rather good mild.

Cask gravity at the London drinker fest 2016. Clear Ruby chestnut brown coloured pour with a lasting loose light tan head. Aroma is raw grains, burnt toast hints of caramel sweetness, dry roasted barley. Flavour is composed of semi sweet rounded caramel , nutty, hint of dried apple, dry roast. Little burnt toast. Decent depth and complexity. Palate is medium light, semi sweet, round, moderate cask condition. Solid enough.

Cask at the Kings Arms - SE1 London. Pours clear, dark Amber with a creamy, light tan head. The aroma has notes of toasty bread, grain, dark fruits. Light-medium sweet flavor with nice ripening fruit character, berries, some wood, toasty bread, mild earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced to finish with some dry earth bitterness, leathery berries, brown bread and cocoa accents. Solid mild.
