Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of malt, yeast and tropical fruit. Sweet fruity flavour with pineapple and mango, some oak and white wine.

Bottle 60 cl. Bottle # 1182. Pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Gushes upon opening though - even if cold and settled. Lovely aroma, herbal and spicy, some Chardonnay barrel character - very complex. Rich, sweet body, very fruity, oranges, again these very complex notes that appear somewhat woody. A little heat in the finish. Very complex, very sophisticated, very enjoyable. 240413

Bottle at Volo, Toronto
cloudy deep blond color; small head. The aroma is complex, there is some of the wine barrel, some of the bog myrtle, some vanilla. Highly carbonated, there is some spicy yeast, some fruitiness, vanilla, wood, light citrus fruits. Correct bitterness, woody final.
Overpriced, but nice.

A murky blonde ale with no head. In aroma, strange peaty malt with Brett notes, green grape skins, smooth biscuit malt, nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt with nice Brett, light grapeskin, smooth and complex, warming alcohol. Bottle sample at Wellington Gastropub, July 26, 2012.
