(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 7 Oct 2011) Amber colour with brief, frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, caramel, toast and vinous hints of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, caramel, black-currant and a fairly bitter-sweet finish. Full body, thick and syrupy mouthfeel, with a generous caramel sweetness. Very nice beer, with lots of potential to age well.

On tap at SBWF, October 6, 2011. Slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Malt, caramel, nuts and some alcohol both in the aroma and taste. Rather vinous with a nice, full body. Would love to age some bottles a couple of years or so.

Bottled (10.4 % ABV)@The Pub on Viking Line Isabella. Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some alcohol, mild wooden notes as well as some slight caramel and mild fruity and floral hoppyness. Flavour is being rather similar in a very sweet way. Also leaves a long sweetish bitter aftertaste. Wellbalanced and refreshing.

Smooth mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Sweet aftertaste. Smooth, sweet, some fruits taste. warming. My kind of Barley Wine for sure!
