Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Cloudy reddish-amber color with a thin white head that recedes gradually to a film. Sticky small patches of lace. Aroma of raspberry, wheat and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of tart raspberry, vinous oak, chocolate malt and wheat. The finish is boozy raspberry and oak. Decent overall.

22 oz bottle. 2015 vintage. Opens with no pop whatsoever. Oily texture. Pours muddy caramel brown with a thin tan head. Light aroma of raspberry and oak. The flavor is light raspberry, lots of alcohol on a sweet, heavy, oily palate. The alcohol is too much for my tastes and the rest of the flavors aren’t complex enough to make this balance out for me.
