500ml bottle from Squires Garden Centre, Horsell. Pours black with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, chocolate, plum, vanilla & roast malt. Medium body. Sweet finish. Enjoyable

Cask, third pint. @CAMRA GBBF Winter Festival 2023, Burton-On-Trent (UK). 17/02/2023 [#5.865 Global - #642 England - #1 3 Thurstons Brewery (My English Brewery #210)] Pours dark chestnut brown with a small head. Aroma: lactose milk chocolate and coffee beans. Taste: watery coffee and chocolate malts. Mild sweet. Next one please!

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark black, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts sweet-malty, notes of some sweets, dry malty finish. Well balanced. Interesting.

50cl bottle. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, liquorice, sugar, lactose. Taste of sweet dark chocolate malt, vanilla, lactose.

Bottle from Inn at home, Guildford. Pours almost black with a tan head, diminishing to nothing quite quickly. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, cherry and rhubarb. Sweet, longitude roasted bitterness, touch of sour. Light to medium body, slight dry/oily texture, quite highly carbonated. Finish is dry and roasted.

Bottle at home. Bought from Bourne Valley Farm Shop. Chocolate and nuts aroma. Black, with a red hue. Beige head, soon settles down to a few mm. Laidback at first, creamy coffee, lactose, chocolate. The bitterness builds in strength through to the long coffee finish. Light but creamy body.
