Hazy medium pink colour with virtally no head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, rose water. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light moderate acidic with a long duration, tart fruit, peppery, phenol, yeasty, Belgium saison yeast, floral, spicy, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20131101]

(Original rate a 3.4 exactly one year ago - beets are way overdone in the new.batch - they come.through big time on the approach, and this makes.the beer much less.enjoyable to me) Tap at Renegade - lightly hazy pinkish pour - flavor is medium sweet, but with strong notes of peppery spice, earthy straw, melon rind - moderate esters (banana) and some earthy, rustic and spicy phenols - beets are not really present - surprised at how much I like this,

Tap @ Renegade Publik House. Pours a bright pink ruby appearance with a pink head. Weedy, earthy, radish, a touch sweet aroma. Tangy beet sugar, very earthy, herbal flavor. I hate beets but this is OK.
