Fassgold is brewed with a blend of pilsner and Vienna malts and fermented using a traditional Kölsch yeast originally sourced from Cologne, Germany. Light, sweet malt provides flavors of cracker and fresh bread, while the yeast provides fruit flavors of green apple and pear, similar to a German Riesling white wine.

Pours clear deep gold into a stang. Bright white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Cracker and biscuit aromas. Crisp with toasted biscuit and sweet caramel upfront turning to dry earthy pine in the medium length finish.
