Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: amber in color with a light transparency about it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney and earthy hops up front, slight citrusy hops in the middle? Yeah, I think so, but boy oh boy, are those faint or what! Nice clean caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes slightly piney and malty
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; touch of smoothness with a little bit of dryness on the tongue
Overall: nice enough amber ale I could come back to.

Pours deep, clear mahogany into a tulip. Tan head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Molasses aromas. Thick with sour, earthy pit fruit and dry, dusty earth. Lasting bitter pith finish.
