# 4540; 2/2025. Strong aroma of skunk and cardboard, slightly floral and cellar. Brilliant straw body; tiny white head with low persistence. Strong cardboard, watery, corn, light cellar. Light body, medium carbonation. Bad drinkability. Really bad NA pale lager. 0,33 l, green bottle, supermarket, Retz (Lower Austria).

Klare gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malzig getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich ebenso malzig getreidig, schwach hopfig. Mittlere bis hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Das neue alkoholfreie Bier aus dem Hause Eggenberg. Es hat aber nichts von den feinen Aromen der anderen Eggenberg-Biere, sondern ist ein einfaches, süßliches Standard-Alkoholfreies, das einfach nicht schmeckt. Braucht man nicht.

500ml bottle at home bought at random Merkur in Vienna, labelled as "Eggenberg Freibier". yellow clear shiny color. small white head. smells of krausen, malty sweetness, light flowery. very light body, soft carbonation, watery mouthfeel. tastes bread, grains, strong metallic notes, some herbs. finishes watery and with light herbal bitterness. the metallic notes combined with the herbs make the taste quite unpleasant, the watery body and mouthfeel does not help to improve this one either. overall not recommended.

Pale golden, crystal clear body, with a big, frothy, rocky, lacing, off-white head.
Thin aroma of grains, grass, corn, sweet malts.
Very watery taste of grains, grass, bread, corn, metallic notes, slight sweet malts.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes light, grainy, a bit metallic.
One of the most boring alcohol free beers I’ve had. Very watery, with some unpleasant metallic notes.

Moderate bitterness, drinkable but rather average n/a.
