Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Smoked meats in the nose, caramel, coffee,chocolate. Meaty, roasty flavours- coffee, dark chocolate, molasses. Complex tasty brew.

Bottle at home ... dark black ... thin tan lacing ... soft sweet red wine .. rich dark chocolate malts ...rich sweet toffee chocolate roast malts ... rich sweet red wine .. soft rich roast .. mellow roast ... heavy sweet chocolate malts ..

Bottle at Craig's. Pours black, nose is almond, chocolate, roasted, oak, taste is sweet, fruity, raisin, berries, chocolate, vanilla, roasted. --- Beer merged from original tick of If I Only Had the Guts 2018 on 30 Aug 2019 at 16:06 - Score: 8
