English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale, with caramel aromas, a pleasing toffee apple flavour and a late bitterness.

Golden (what else) pour with a lasting white head. Aromas of hops, herbs, citrus, tastes of toffee, caramel, hops with a decent bitter aftertaste. Not bad.

Pours a clear golden colour with a throthy off-white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aromas of caramel, bread and biscuits. Taste is more of the same notes with a lingering earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice

26/6/2021. Bottle shared with Dan & ITFCfan at the Euro16 beer share. Bought at the St Peter's Brewery shop. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy white head. Nice looking beer. Aroma of caramel, citrus, grain, grass, flowers, touch of veg and spice. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, average carbonation.

Bottle - a Christmas gift from my brother. The aroma is mainly malty with some floral hops. Pours a golden yellow with a substantial frothy white head and good lacing. Starting off in the mouth quite sweet and malty, but the more I drank the hoppier it became. Almost getting to IPA bitterness by the end. Creamy texture and pepper with the hops too. This is a lot nice than I expected it would be.

Cool large medicine shaped bottle. Pours gold, small white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma of biscuit malts and caramel. Taste is caramel malts, honey but a little one dimensional even by golden ale standards. Body has reasonable smoothness and soft carbonation. Finish has a nice building bitterness. Lacks a bit of flavour but there are good elements here.
