English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale, with caramel aromas, a pleasing toffee apple flavour and a late bitterness.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma is caramelly, floral, mild fruity and grassy. Pours clear golden color with thin soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, following is grassy and herbal with apple note, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Half way to heaven...

[50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell.] A bright amber pour with a loose cream head; stewed malt aroma; dry caramel taste with a grassy bitterness and a touch of spice to finish. Rather tasty, in a jammy over-pasteurised kind of way.
