Juicy farmhouse ale
Alesong's take on New England’s favorite beer style. This brett-fermented saison blends mature barrels from our cellar with younger beer brewed with a heavy dose of Mosaic hop extract. A generous dry-hop on the final blend with Strata and Nelson Sauvin results in juicy, tropical flavors and aromas that meld perfectly with the complex yeast profile and mild acidity.
Vintage: 2023
Cases produced: 260
Microbes: Brettanomyces
Barrels: French oak barrels & foeders
Farmhouse Fusion represents a very Alesong take on New England’s favorite beer style. Tropical, hop-forward, and hazy, this saison was primarily fermented with Brettanomyces and blends mature barrels from our cellar with younger beer brewed with a heavy dose of Mosaic hop extract. A generous dry-hop on the final blend with Strata and Nelson Sauvin results in juicy, tropical flavors that you might find in a Northeast IPA. Those flavors are a perfect complement to the complex yeast profile that developed through oak aging and the Brett fermentation in the more mature barrels included in the blend. We hope you find the combo of yeast, oak, and hops as intriguing and delicious as we do!

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Funky, some citrus, pleasant tartness, funk, light tropical notes.

Trying out the wide angle lens and hey now everyone's in focus! The hops really pack here but I get that it was the goal so I loved it. Nice funk and plenty of sweet hops, sweet oak really wraps it up
