Bottle at home. Bought from Inn at Home, Guildford. Musty yeasty hay aroma, a bitter edge. Light amber. Small bubbles. Creamy white head. A light bitterness, with a sweet swell. Medium bodied, dense mouthfeel. Honey/caramel, but overpowered by the alcohol, especially in the finish. OK, but not a beer I’d order if I saw it again (and this is a second chance for it).

Cask at EBF XV, 08/08/13. Almost clear golden with a moderately sized tan head. Nose carries a rich malt aroma, corn, summer fruits, grass, a little on the thin side. Taste comprises citrus fruit, bitter orange, straw, bready malts, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Decent effort at a strong pils.
