330 ml bottle. Black body with a creamy beige head that disappears quite fast. Aroma has roasted dark malt, coffee and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, dark, roasted malt, coffee and medium bitterness. The alcohol make this a bit too boozy and will probably be a bit softer with some aging. Still a nice one.

Bottle, thx to the brewer. It’s a really dark brown beer, topped by a beige head. Lots of mocha on the nose and in the flavor, with caramel, coffee and licorice. The flavor has a nice sweetness, some bitterness to balance it, and there’s a little wamth due to the alcohol. The alcohol is more present in the aroma though. Full body, soft on the palate, and finishing with mocha, black coffee and some sweetness. Overall, I think it’s definitely one of the best beers they’ve made, but maybe they didn’t have to go as high as 12%. Like it anyway. 130906
