This strong wild ale spent 6 months in our French oak puncheons before spending 9 months in freshly emptied French oak Syrah barrels. We then transferred the beer to a tank filled with a mixture of 2/3 Syrah grapes sourced from a vineyard in Washington State, and 1/3 wild organic Blueberries from Canada. This beer pours bright fuchsia with pink foam, and delivers substantial wine-like notes and tannins. Freshly crushed Syrah grapes and Blueberries belie notes of Blackcurrant, Blackberry, Raspberry, Leather, and French oak. Full-bodied and moderately tart with a lasting finish.

Winey berries! Nice funk upfront and solid perfect carb, the finish is a bit sour but still pleasing levels, reminds me I gotta try some natural wine still at some point.
