Our big, bold shout-out to Spokane, this copper-colored ale is our most complex offering. Munich and Crystal malts lay down a supportive body, while Chinook and Cascade — our favorite Washington-grown hops — bring the citrus and piney flavors (plus Northern Brewer for a hint of mint). We dry-hop with Cascade and CTZ for bigger hop aromas that enhance an immensely satisfying IPA.

Bomber bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very hazy reddish golden with a small creamy offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet with bread, biscuits, pine needles, resinous wood, overripe tropical fruits, silage, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, caramel and cedar. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, malty and fruity with biscuits, caramel, sweet bread, cedar, grapefruit juice, pine needles, grapefruit rinds, moist grass, lemon zest and hints of overripe tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with biscuits, caramel, pine needles, grapefruit juice, moist grass, cedar and lemon zest. Should have opened this much sooner. Would have been much better fresh.

Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 2, Ulfborg. Bottle. Hazy orange color, small off - white head. Nice aroma of malts, hops, lightly resin and fruityness. Taste heavy malty, lots of hops, lightly resin, very nicely bitter. Good balance though maybe a bit too malty. Still very nice though. Full body, medium to full carbonation.

Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, hops, citrus and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, hops, citrus, grapefruit, little sweet and meidum bitter.

Bottle @ TSODRBSG13, Ulfborg. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 310813

Cloudy amber color with medium sized head. The aroma is hoppy, moderately fruity and resiny, with caramel, very light biscuity, apparently sweet. Good body strength, round mouthfeel; strong caramel and toffee flavor, with moderate residual sweetness; strong bitterness with a strong resiny side and milder fruity side (bitter oranges); it also has an earthy touch that blends in well.
Straight IPA, well constructed; a bit dirty but good.
