Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one and a half to two finger eggshell white foamy head which settled off to some light lace
Aroma: roasted nuts, toasted malts, nice coffee, undertones, cocoa powder, and some tree bark
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet with some toasty and roasty backings, nice aftertaste of the cocoa powder and roasted nuts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness along tongue; finishes dry, roasty and nutty
Overall: I say nice English brown ale I would have again.

Been 13 months since last brown ale, used to be so common. Handsome chestnut brown pour and foamy head. Nose is malty and roasted nuts. Tastes of charred chestnuts, rootbeer, malt, cocoa powder. Smoothbpalate.
