Orakel Landbier is a crisp, German-style country lager that finds inspiration in heirloom Bavarian malts and the history of brewing with ancient grains. Made primarily with Isaria, the oldest native German barley variety, a malt reminiscent of flakey biscuits - small amounts of Bavarian spelt and buckwheat add a delicate nutty and pastoral charm. Hopped with Northern Brewer, Perle and Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Orakel provides gentle notes of orange oils, pinewood and treacle on the way to lush and balanced mouthfeel that refreshes and restores.

Clear green gold with decent fluffy white head. Nose is herbal and bready. Tatses of hay, bread, florals, some bread crust. Medium bodied and rustic finish. Ok
