Cask at CP&K, thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy golden amber with a small white head. The nose is boozy, earth, spice, hay, leaf, dried fruit, pear and melon. The taste is oily orange, big booze aspect, earth, spice, hay, icing sugar, over-ripe stone fruit, dough, touch of unami and decent bitterness with a very dry, warming finish. Full body and fine carbonation. A bit boozy for my liking. Decent for the style, but the style tiself is far from my favourite...

Cask at CPK - London. Pours. Loudy gold with a large, frothy off-white head. The aroma holds lots of yeasty bread, orange and lemon. Big sweet flavor with lots of doughy bread, slight bitter grass, plenty of ripe citrus fruits. Full bodied with aveage carbonation. Slight dryness on the finish but still lots of lasting, sugary bread, touches of yeast, subtle lemon peel, ripe orange. As you would expect from a tripel this is a big and sweet beer. Pretty drinkable, though, given the style.
