Bottle, no Desert Ale on the label so that is probably a different recipe, very little head, clear bronze colour, yeasty vanila aroma with some tropical fruits coming to the fore but are always quite light. flavour of flowers and fruits and a medium strong bitterness that doesn’t last for long. Not much of an IPA, quite dissapointing.

Re-rate 11/27/11: Bottle. Nice juicy fruity and floral hops. Good moderate citric bitterness. A pleasant quaffable IPA, finished the bottle really fast. Better than last time. 7/3/7/3/15=3.5
Bottle. Hazy dark amber color with a huge frothy off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma with grapefruit, pine needles and a bit of malt. Flavor starts sweetish with malt and a bit of caramel and fruits, continues to a bitter, citric and slightly piney hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. A rather balanced IPA. Decent. 7/4/6/3/13=3.3
