Caramel brown with a large soapy head that lingered. Sweet with toffee, yeast, raisin and alcohol. Long finish. Full bodied.

Aroma is fairly fruity sweet but not strongish sweet as with many strong ales. Barely any carbonation, if any greets the palate. This is in contrast to the fact there are bubbles constantly rising in the liquid. Syrupy feel that coats the mouth. The look of this stuff is slight haze to an otherwise ubiquitous pale yellow. The taste impression is quite evolving, first it is s trippel, but sweeter than most belgies. You would never know this is +10%! It hides the alky content well, unlike mast other american trippels. Much more refined, IMHO almost on par with other belgie trippels in enjoyability but again much sweeter. Certainly there is an alky presence but it is put in the background with all that fruit sweet sensations. Some medicinal linger remains on the palate after the session.
