Barely any aroma but if you try hard I think I smell a little bit of candy sweetness in there. Clear and just slightly more gold than the ubiquitous pale yellow american beer, leaning on the orange side. It has a tea froth head. Barely any carbonation but it has just enough tingle to let you know it’s not flat. At first palate commencement there is a cotton candy sweetness about it. But that evolves into a slightly more bitter taste bud impact. Each sip is a metamorphis from friendly to medium bitter. Finish leaves a medium hop bitter linger that hangs for a while almost like a pale ale. Overall, not bad for a lager. Has enough personality to let you know you are drinking beer, but not over the top bitterness.
