Our award winning dark ale which is an original London style, lighter in body than a stout but with the same alcohol content. Brewed with pale, crystal, chocolate and black malts to create a creamy, smooth, roasted, slightly chocolate tasting ale with a bit of hoppiness in the finish. The name comes from the fact that after brewing, the mash is given to a local farmer and there can't be anything better than spent grain from brewing for fattening up a pig.

Bottle at Brewforia. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Sweet light roast map aroma and flavor. Lacking the sour tart stig of many porters. On the lighter side and pleasent. Lingering small bitterness at the end. Easy drinkable porter.

12 oz bottle. Smells of vanilla mocha. Pours black with a thick tan head which dissipates but never depletes. Tastes of sweet coffee, roasted malt,

Tap @ Famous Dave’s Bozeman: Pours a deep brown color with a finger of fizzy beige head. Aroma is a nice blend of roast and bittersweet chocolate. The flavor is roasty and has a strong hoppy content before mellowing into a smoother, more roasty and chocolate finish. Different, but enjoyable.

Light brown head, pitch black color that allows nothing to get through their. Darkest porter I have ever seen! Smokey nose with a touch of dark chocolate and hay. Slightly sour, charcol, chocolately mouth. Good stuff.
