Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice looking copper body that supports a tall dark tan head. The aroma offers up lots of floral hop notes followed by a modest level of malt sweetness. The taste delivers a pretty tasty mix of sweet malts and hoppiness that seem sort of resiny and bitter floral hops as well as a bit of pine hops going on too. I can’t help but think it comes across a tad soapy here and there or maybe that’s just my imagination.

On tap. Pours with a tan head and a very murky brown body. Aroma is very fruity with caramel and tangerine. Taste is caramel, flan, berry, pine, brown sugar and a bit of smoke. Lots of crystal malt and lots of bitterness. Creamy carbonation syrupy.

pours a thin rich tan head and cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, back bone of pine hops with cascade (approximately a malty APA). Taste is malty, spicy/pine hops bitterness. Has a fermented tang. (about a winter ale). Enjoyable for 1 or 2 at a time, then that’s enough spice. Medium/full body. Good effervescence.
