Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a crystal clear deep gold body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma is resiny and spicy wood, grapefruit, malt sweetened lemon notes and then resiny pine off in the background. This is a big flavorful brew that has a strong lemon and grapefruit and herbal hop rip currents. Another sip brings up rich and vibrant flavors like sweet malts being crushed by firm resiny pine hops, grapefruit citrus hop bitterness and then a little bit of tangelo hop flavor. Toward the finish a little bit of lemon bubbles to the surface as well as thin notes of spicy, herbal and faintly garlic notes that show up amid the big yet fading resiny pine hops and citrusy grapefruit. Wow! This is money. (wow, am I even drinking the same beer as the other raters?)
