Poured up on tap at the Papago Hopageddon event where it exhibits a crystal clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma is full up chili pepper meat and skin and I have to strain to pull up slivers of sweet beer notes. The taste is similar where it is all big pepper blows, one after the other, and then you wait for the heat to start to kick your teeth in but it never does. This is just big bold chili pepper meat flavor with really zero capsicum burn. It would be interesting if some IPA shown through but it really doesn’t. If you’re in the mood for chili peppers and no painful burn then this is for you. Fun beer.
