Poured up on tap at the Papago Hopageddon event where it exhibits a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a tan head of foam that leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up a nice mix of malts and grapefruit with a resiny hoppy like edge to it. Another pull brings up a pleasing citrus candy note. The taste is smooth and juicy with citrusy grapefruit and then it quickly picking up hop bitterness that grows into resiny hop notes. Toward the finish it does pick up a straight up malt sweetened fresh citrus juice sensation. This is nice as the bitterness and citrus juiciness meld together into harmonious flavor yum.
