Poured up on tap at the Mission Valley Oggi’s with a gold body that has copper hues and supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a smooth mix of resiny pine hops, grapefruit, orange peel and then some resiny hoppiness just as thin mango ribbons join in to help make this smell a little juicier. The taste has an initial moment of sweet malts and timid hops but this changes in an instant. I get resiny bitter hops that are pine mixed with less resiny clementine like citrus hops swirling around a thin river of sweet maltiness. The malts and resiny hops grow into the finish. This is a tasty IPA.
