Draft @ Neighborhood San Diego, SanDiego, CA. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma is very fig and date and prune like where there’s also some brown sugar thinly ringed around the edges. The taste delivers sweet prunes and dates and figs that are smooth and coated with a thin dusting of brown sugar. It has moments of banana and bubble gum here and there too. This comes together nicely as it has just the right level of richness without being too heavy or too sweet. This is a fun Dubbel and might be the best I’ve had to date.
