Red Rock’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is brewed with roasted barley to impart notes of coffee and dark chocolate. We use dark malts for a bold malt flavor. As a finishing touch, the beer is aged in Kentucky Bourbon barrels for a year.

Bottle, 500 ml at the Bayou, SLC. Black with nice brownish head. Chocolate, roasted malts, lots of bourbon, vanilla, wood. Warming, some alcohol. Thin finish doesn't support the beer enough, bit rough around the edges.

500 ml bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a almost jet black color with a small white head. A big sweet bourbon nose. Roast, chocolate, vanilla, woody, smoke. Hot. A bit aggressive. Very good.

500ml bottle from the brewery
Pours dark brown with medium sized tan head, some lacing. Aroma of bourbon, woody, leather and chocolate. Flavors are woody, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon, some hot alcohols
This is really good. A little age on this might mellow it out some.
