A refreshing zesty ale that packs a big punch of flavour for its strength. Initially full of hops and bitterness, a subtle sweetness is also present, all leading to a long lingering complex finish.

Cask at Queens Head. It pours hazy golde yellow with a small white head. The nose is fresh floral, light honey sweetness, grainy and faint toast. The taste is straw, biscuit, light toast, floral, pithy lime and orange with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Easy going and drinkable golden.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Dried straw in the nose, some biscuits. Light sweet flavor with mild bitter straw, some citric zip, light dry orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, more dry, citric bite, faint floral notes, some stone. It’s a decent golden ale. Pretty tasty. (3.3)
Bottle at home in London - from London Beer. This beer definitely might need a new entry. It pours clearish yellow-golw with a frothy, white head. Gorgeous aroma, just bursting with new world hops, zesty lemon and tangerine, some melon and mango. Light sweet flavor with mild pale bread and biscuits, lots more citrus, some straw. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Well balanced on the finish with low bitterness, more lemon, tangerine, slight grapefruit, hay. Lovely stuff. Super drinkable. (3.8)

Shared 500ml bottle, from Sourced Market St Pancras. Low, white head. Apricot coloured body with a slight haze. Grass hoppy and grainy nose. Orange fruity flavour leading to a semi-dry ending. Thin bodied. Easy to drink and quite refreshing (hotel room, London 27.11.2012).

Cask gravity at Sebright Arms Hackney. Pale gold with thin white head. Decent enough hoppy golden ale. Some lime fruit edge. Yep a tasty golden. Bit harsher on the bitterness than you would think for a lighter abv
