Back in August we hosted @divinebarrelclt from Charlotte NC and even though the sun was shining and the heat was sweltering we thought about what ‘future you’ would want to drink on these cool fall nights. What we created together is Dark Divinity, a Dark Lager that featured a decoction mash on the brew day and 7 weeks of lagering time post fermentation. This crushable 5% ABV lager pours black with hints of ruby when the light flickers upon it, and is topped with a tan creamy head. Layered sweet chocolate malt up front with a subtle roastiness on the back end and a dry crisp finish that will keep you sipping til it's time for the next pour.
